STEELHEAD FISHING

COWLITZ RIVER is located East of I-5 mile post 68, which is Highway 12. Follow the signs to Blue Creek Hatchery or Barrier Dam.

The Cowlitz River is one of Washington's number one Steelhead rivers. Summer Steelhead run June through August 1st.

Winter Steelhead run December through March.

Summer Steelhead is the most productive in July. Fish average 7 to 15 pounds
